Project AUM began with the exploration of the AUM Curriculum through dance, and has since blossomed into AUM through the Arts.  In March of 2012 we began our free movement workshop series presented by Perceptions Dance and Studio Anya that assists in the artistic exploration of the AUM Curriculum while teaching its techniques through movement and dance.  

Kate Enright joined us for our very first workshop to explore some of the AUM Curriculum techniques through movement.  Kate is a dance artist, educator, scholar, and photographer who is currently based in Berlin, Germany and Brussels, Belgium.  Her work examines and questions cultural perspectives from an ethnographically inspired curiosity. Kate’s choreography has been shown in New York City (Movement Research, Joyce SOHO, The Raven), Ohio (CM2/OSU), Maine (Bates Dance Festival/Bates College/Bowdoin College), Vermont, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., and North Carolina.  Nationally, Kate has taught choreography, movement for actors, dance technique, improvisation, and dance writing at The Ohio State University, Connecticut College, Wesleyan University, Bates College, Ursinus College, ACDFA, Bates Dance Festival, Vermont Contemporary Dance and Fitness Studio, and The Actor’s Center in Boston.
