"You ask me: What happened when you became enlightened? I laughed, a real uproarious laugh, seeing the whole absurdity of trying to be enlightened." - Osho.
Osho says that it is our birthright to attain enlightenment, and it is our own doing should we choose to live in darkness. However, enlightenment has this grand reputation of being an end result to strive for, whereas Swami Satya Vedant sheds his insights on the enlightenment process as a whole. He says very vehemently, "Enlightenment has a beginning. It doesn't have an end." It only requires a moment of light, a moment of awareness to surpass all of our unconscious patterns of feeling stuck, and that requires a multiplicity of enlightenments, a lifelong journey in this life and the next.
