Mind+Body Healing

“The wound is the place where the light enters you.” - Rumi

The wise King Solomon ruled Israel for 40 years of peace, prosperity and practical precepts. Aphorisms like “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bone” (Proverbs 1623-25) offer a mellifluous motto and a precise prescription all in one. As the builder of the First Temple with over 3,000 proverbs to his name, it’s clear to see that King Solomon walked his talk both at the sacred Mount and through the streets of an Ideal Nation.

Sweet to the soul and healing to the bone, Mind + Body Healing involves the progressive entrainment of reciprocity or what Curriculum Aum calls the Equanimity Equation. Balancing oppositional forces H.armonizes E.nergy A.nd L.ight (Heal) to create the A.cknowledgment/  U.nderstanding/  R.espect/  A.cceptance (Aura) needed for a new golden age.

Whether the goal is to heal a nation or receive personal satiation, sources of inspiration like those found in the Wisdom Literature inspire a steadfast plan of action for our hopes and prayers. King Solomon, like many great leaders, invoked powerful transformation in the material world by engaging the invisible forces.

The timeless lesson: To understand the heart of any strategy we need only investigate the nature of our core beliefs. Our presiding perceptions manufacture our thoughts-- which in turn generate our feelings in the form of fluid born chemicals like luminescent lights. Our beliefs, thoughts, and feelings interpenetrate a three dimensional crystalline structure, called Fascia, that records our life story in places like our bones, muscles and organs. As an energy- conducting matrix, Fascia connects all the parts within the whole in a seamless web of communication.

Like the Air Element, our breath is a chariot of life-force traveling in all directions as a chief liaison between systems and the primary messenger in the seamless web. From a Native American perspective, the air element is often compared with the wind and personified as a celestial muse. Considered to symbolize the essence of life as the negotiator between spheres, but as Yoko Ono questions who has seen the wind? That is a difficult question to answer. Although slippery to define, we know beyond words the experience of the wind in the same way we know our breath and the need to clear the air in a relationship or in a stuffy room. Some things we just know.

Intuition reigns when wisdom transcends logic. After all, how did King Solomon know without the luxury of modern technology, that the honeycomb mirrors the matrix of the bones in divine proportion? As Jesus explains it, “The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”

For thousands of years, Scientists and Spiritualists have explored these kinds of mysteries in the universe. While Astronomers use physics to interpret the images from telescopes, Buddhist Monks meditate upon the mandala, envisioning cosmic truths in communion with what Jung called quaternity. In many ways our flow of bioenergy is as elusive as the wind, yet takes form in “one sinuous labyrinth that would encompass the past and the future and in some way involve the stars.” (Jorge Luis Borges)

The Anya Mandala brings together a series of symbols that form a sacred space for healing and the articulation of a system of energy pathways we call a Meta Map to blueprint a course of action. Mind + Body healing blossoms in a bouquet of gracious words—joy, compassion, peace and prosperity—illuminating an inner sanctuary like Solomon’s Temple in the garden of our sublime essence … where gentle breezes caress our skin and we know AU.niveral M.oment as sweet to the soul.

Mind + Body Healing lives and breathes in the space of this illuminated knowing. Essentially, we practice the Mind + Body Dialogue, Mind + Body Awareness and Mind + Body Fitness to become more centered in our thoughts and feelings and ultimately, our breath emerges as a portal to the
